Bushelcraft Farm strives to increase local food security and connection to nature by offering classes, community events, educational tours, food production space, jobs, and volunteer opportunities.
Family Christian Development Center's mission is to see lives transformed and the life of the community enhanced by encouraging the oppressed, defending the cause of the weak, and maintaining the rights of the poor by bringing together the resources of the caring community as a demonstration of the good news of Christ.
Seed to Feed is a program of Church Community Services that provides fresh, local produce and protein to food pantries of Elkhart County. Our produce comes from about 15 volunteer-led gardens, local commercial farmers, and an on-site greenhouse. Protein is also offered at the Church Community Services food pantry from local butcheries.
Healthy Beginnings is a community service that provides much needed help to families with nutritional barriers. Through the WIC program families can receive vouchers to help them with their food expenses.
The Window, Inc. a faith-based, non-profit organization, provides services to meet essential needs of anyone with limited income.
