Healthy Food Policy Project

A couple of us in the Food Council enjoyed learning about the work of the Healthy Food Policy Project. Their policy database allows anyone to look up and search for examples of policies that have been passed around the U.S. to support production, access to, and consumption of healthy food.

The Healthy Food Policy Project identifies and elevates local laws that seek to promote access to healthy food, and also contribute to strong local economies, an improved environment, and health equity, with a focus on socially disadvantaged and marginalized groups.
